Successful restaurant brands have recognized the role that data can play in driving operational efficiency and guest experience. However, recent privacy regulations — GDPR in Europe, CCPA in California — have imposed a variety of new requirements on companies, not to mention significant financial liabilities for non-compliance. This session will explore (a) what's required by new legislation, and (b) strategies and tactics for collecting and using data properly.
